A method of Silver Gelatin printing using high contrast developers to change and control contrast and tonality. Lith prints are often high contrast, displaying a red / brown tone in the midtones with strong black shadows. However, the process is variable and the contrast and tonality is further manipulated by changes in print exposure and development.
